I normally don't like to post works in progress, but this is taking me a LONG TIME to finish. This is about 10 hours so far, because it's 2 people and larger than anything I normally draw. This will be approx 13 x 15 inches and about 16 hours?

This is very challenging to me for this reason, and also because I've never drawn a complete profile, so it's hard to capture someone's eye and have it look like that person from the side? At least with a straight on view, you have 2 chances of getting the eyes right? :D I also still suck at drawing ears, and his is right there! There is a cool microphone between them, which is gonna be fun to draw. I also don't draw full heads, as you know, so even that is different, but that's okay!

It's a commission drawing for Tyrone Wells and his wife, Elina. I am not sharing any progress pics with him. I want him to be surprised! He is a very well known singer-songwriter (Google him) and is currently on a 6 week tour with my son Andrew Belle.

She is a singer too, and aside from him being the main act, she later comes up on stage and sings 3 songs with him. THIS one is my FAV!

I had to take this with a camera, at night, as it's too large for my scanner. The FINAL photo will be much better.

I should be done by this weekend, and will post then. I will post both the complete drawing, along with each person separately :D:D

I like the woman's expression, it makes you believe that she is actually a kind person, but you have never met her in real life! And I like the shadings on the chins, there is something about them what appeals to me :iconteheplz: It's such a sweet picture!
