So yeah, I hit the big 50 today! SH*T!!! Well, at least I got a surprise lunch today when my wife took me out to eat and my my 3 daughters, son and soon to be daughter in-law (in 2 WEEKS) Jill (with hat) were there waiting for us!!! :D:D

~ Family is EVERYTHING!!!

Wow Rick, you have one beautiful family! By the way, I know this is way late, but Happy belated Birthday! The big "50" huh? Well you don't look a day over 30 to me, haha. God has truly blessed you with an amazing family and an incredible talent. Most people don't get half of that in a life time. Also, congrats on your new daughter in-law. And you're so right about "Family is EVERYTHING!" I've learned that the greatest gift anyone could have in life is, having a loving family that truly cares and loves one another. Having that kind of love & support behind any talent can make any dream come true. And it looks like a lot of your dreams have come true.
Last, I'd like to say thank you again for the compliments you've given me on my artwork. They truly mean a lot to me. But for some reason, I get depressed when I see all this great artwork here on dA (LIKE YOUR'S) and I wish I could reach that level of photorealism as you have. But for some strange reason, I just can't seem to get there. I guess I'll just have to keep praying and maybe some day it will happen. Anyhow, keep up the awesome work and God Bless.

Man, sorry for late reply. I truly do not have enough time between everything! Thx for the complement and you can rest assured I give the glory to God (Christ) for my ability. Even for waiting 46 yrs to show me I had it ha! Family is all, and feel very blessed indeed! Keep up the great work, I see you only have about 6 drawings in gallery? One reason I improve is cuz I practice (draw) a LOT! About 2000+ hrs in 3 years? Take care man! :D:D
